The rules for using Pakisnap

Pakisnap is an online classified-ads marketplace operated by Coder Logistics, Pakistan ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services.

By accessing or using Pakisnap, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Who can use Pakisnap

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You may not create an account if we have previously suspended or banned you.
  • Accounts are personal. You may not sell, transfer or share your account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses caused by someone else using your account with or without your knowledge.

3. Posting listings

When you post a listing, you confirm that:

  • You own the item, or are legally authorised to sell or offer it.
  • The listing is accurate, honest, complete and not misleading — including its condition, price and photographs.
  • The item is legal to sell in Pakistan and in any location you offer to deliver to.
  • You have placed it in the correct category and location.
  • You will honour the advertised price and description if a buyer accepts.
  • You will remove or mark the listing as sold once it is no longer available.

You are solely responsible for your listings and for complying with all laws and taxes that apply to your sales.

4. Prohibited items and content

You may not list, offer, or advertise:

  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or their parts
  • Drugs, narcotics, controlled substances, or related equipment
  • Alcohol, tobacco, or other regulated substances where prohibited
  • Counterfeit, replica or pirated goods, or anything that infringes another party's trademark or copyright
  • Stolen property, or goods obtained unlawfully
  • Prescription medicines, medical devices, or health products making unverified claims
  • Pornographic, obscene or sexually explicit material, or any escort or adult services
  • Human organs, body parts, or bodily fluids
  • Endangered or protected wildlife, or animals sold in breach of animal-welfare laws
  • Government-issued documents, identity documents, certificates or licences
  • Currency, financial instruments, or investment, lottery, pyramid and multi-level marketing schemes
  • Personal data, contact lists, or account credentials
  • Hacking tools, malware, or services intended to breach security
  • Hazardous, toxic or radioactive materials
  • Anything else unlawful in Pakistan, or that we reasonably consider harmful, deceptive or offensive

You may also not use Pakisnap to defraud or mislead others, post spam or repetitive listings, harass or abuse users, impersonate anyone, scrape or copy the platform's data, or interfere with the site's operation or security.

5. Review, moderation and removal

We may review listings before or after they are published. We may edit, refuse, unpublish or delete any listing or content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion and without prior notice — in particular where we believe these Terms have been broken, where content is unlawful, or where a listing risks harm to other users.

We are not obliged to monitor content, and reviewing some content does not make us responsible for all of it.

6. How long listings stay live

Listings remain visible for a set period, shown to you when you post. After that they expire and stop appearing publicly. You can repost an expired listing from your dashboard for a further period. We may change these periods at any time.

7. Transactions between users

Pakisnap is a venue only. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers, we do not own or inspect the items listed, and we do not hold funds, provide escrow, or guarantee any sale.

Any contract for a sale is made directly between the buyer and the seller. You are responsible for:

  • Satisfying yourself about the item, the price, and the other person before you commit
  • Arranging payment and delivery, and bearing the risk of doing so
  • Meeting safely — we recommend public places, inspecting goods before paying, and never sending money in advance
  • Any tax, duty, licence or legal obligation arising from your transaction

We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, for items that are not as described, or for any loss, injury or dispute arising between users.

8. Paid promotions

Posting is free. You may optionally pay to feature or promote a listing for greater visibility.

  • Prices and durations are shown before you pay, and may change for future purchases.
  • Payment is processed by third-party providers; their terms also apply.
  • A promotion buys increased visibility for the stated period only. We do not guarantee any number of views, enquiries, or a sale.
  • Promotion fees are non-refundable once the promotion has started, except where the law requires otherwise or where we failed to deliver the promotion.
  • If we remove a listing for breaching these Terms, any promotion on it is forfeited without refund.

9. Comments, reviews and messages

You are responsible for what you write. Comments, reviews and messages must be honest, relevant and lawful, and must not contain abuse, hate speech, threats, personal data of others, or spam. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. We may remove content, and the owner of a listing may remove comments on their own listing.

10. Voice calls

Calls made through the platform connect directly between participants' browsers. You must not use calls to harass, threaten, defraud or abuse anyone. Call features may be limited, changed or withdrawn at any time.

11. Your content and the permission you give us

You keep ownership of the text, photographs, audio and video you upload. By posting content on Pakisnap you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and publish that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform — including in search results, category pages, and marketing of the marketplace. This licence continues for content you have made public until it is removed, and ends for other content when you delete it or your account.

12. Our intellectual property

The Pakisnap name, logo, design, software and all related material are owned by Coder Logistics and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Pakisnap and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove your content, or restrict features at any time if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users or the platform. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licence, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnity — will continue to apply.

14. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Pakisnap available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time without liability.

15. Disclaimer

Pakisnap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant the quality, safety, legality or existence of items listed, the truth or accuracy of any listing or user statement, the identity of any user, or that any user will complete a transaction. You use the platform and deal with other users entirely at your own risk.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Pakisnap and Coder Logistics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity.
  • We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your dealings with other users, from any item bought or sold, from content posted by users, or from unauthorised access to your account or data.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or PKR 10,000, whichever is greater.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pakisnap, Coder Logistics, and its officers and employees from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your content, your transactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these Terms.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change, and material changes may be notified through the platform. Continuing to use Pakisnap after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts of Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform.

21. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the platform.
